#1 Movie Buff (10 out of 10 ) Has no one seen this movie? No comments? c'mon. I strongly advise people see this film. It is 'A Must See'. Trust! 'Its Chili outside, its Chili inside.' You wanna see Travolta in a role MADE FOR HIM??? watch it, then go see the sequel, Be Cool!
KristinA (10 out of 10 ) I loved it! It was smart, hilarious and very entertaining. And yeah, Travolta truly was in a role MADE FOR HIM - He was as stunning as he was in Pulp Fiction. A really 'worth seeing' movie.
RichardP (10 out of 10 ) I love this movie. It's hilarious, violent and everywhere in between. It's actually amazing how well it's put together. I mean a genuinely sweet love interest, tough mob guys, funny stuff and all while being endearing. I just love it. One of my all-time favorites. And yes, Travolta was made for this role. But I don't see how they could have picked better people for the other roles. Everyone just fits perfectly.
MarvinM (10 out of 10 ) I purchased this movie on DVD and I know I've seen It twenty times or more. The funny thing, I still crack up everytime I see it. This movie and the sequel are awesome movies!
SMarshek (10 out of 10 ) Love this flick. Never get sick of it. An all star cast only further drives this movie into my popularity list. The dark side via the mob ties and violence associated with that is quickly lightened up with the comedy side of it all. Check it out, add it to your collection.
mace (10 out of 10 ) I love Elmore Leonard books but hate most of the movies made from them. For some reason, screenwriters feel they have to strip away everything that makes Leonard's writing unique and replace it with "industry" cliches. After watching this movie ten or eleven times, I read the script and bought the Elmore Leonard book. Not only does this script retain the unique character of the book, but it makes it better. This movie is more Elmore Leonard than the written word. Thank you, Scott Frank.
